My streams are back!

And they're exponentially less boring now. Follow for some multiplayer games and stream integration stuff!

Now, you might be wondering, why was this posted in the Discord section?

You see, my reboot of streams has also come with the death of the Discord server. (Well, partially at least, due to Brawlforming and Supporter perks.)
We are on Guilded now instead. Guilded is just a much better Discord in every way possible. It's like Linux to Windows. The difference is like 144 vs 60 fps, or 4K vs 1080p. You simply can't go back. Use this link to apply to join now!

Speaking of Brawlforming, it has been updated for a simple fix (almost 2 months later) to a very common crash that was related to the new rendering system which brought with it the ultimate loading speed gains and RAM usage reduction.

We need your help, right now!

First, I'll have to admit that activity on the Discord server has been improving in general. More talking, but still nothing that has to necessarily be moderated. It's a nice place to be in right now.

However, no matter how much activity there is on the server, it won't decrease the amount of BS that I have to go through with school. And now, I have 5 additional lessons (vs my other classmates) that I didn't even sign up for. How amazing - I'm (supposedly) in a disadvantaged situation, so what do we do? Oh, we make it even worse! Thanks, school. It would be nice if I could just do literally anything else, but no, of course not. My parents being unreliable monkeys doesn't help it, either.

So, when I say that we need help, I mean it. I really don't want to start shutting things down, but if I have to, you can say goodbye to the Minecraft server, the Discord bots and this website for good. And I don't want you to just say "f". We will actually start banning people who falsely pretend like they care when it's pretty obvious that they really don't.

The Discord server is much more accessible now!

First of all, the 2FA wall is finally gone... well... sort of.

The original idea of the verification wall was to stop people from raiding the server. That's right, the wall was directly the fault of you, the users. However, we have managed to get literally zero raiders so far (except for one on the Minecraft server which wasn't necessarily damaging), so it is about time to lift this rule. The verification will still be there as a requirement to post images and talk in VC, rather than locking it behind Level 2, like it originally was.

As for purges... oh, boy. We are still getting rid of the most inactive users, while keeping the semi-alive ones in. The definition of "semi-alive", however... You just had to be online...
until now. From now on, you will have to have sent a message in the actual server in order to not get purged. This should filter the uninterested users as well.

Oh, and by the way, the 1.16 Minecraft server has been launched on the IP benedani.xyz . No, there is no mistake here - that is the address of the server. Dark seems to be facing some nice school issues, though, so it might take a while for it to be added to this site...

But anyway, our Discord server awaits you!

Huge changes are coming.

Looks like I'm the new server owner now. Cool.

So to summarize the changes that happened on the server during the past and this month:

• May 16th, I became the server owner as the server was renamed to just be the "Kappa Lands" along with a new animated icon. Fire got the old CuteCat server repurposed to be the "Kappa Labs", where you have to be either a Supporter or manually selected to enter.
  
• In May, the purges were aimed towards ALL Level 1 users, not just those without update roles. This resulted in... well, 11 of them getting Purge Strike on the 20th. And none complained, or even responded - one left the server though.
  
• On the 22th of the same month, we've got the new updates on the Benedani laws that apply to our Discord server since it technically represents Benedanis. This meant that the purge system couldn't be removed under any circumstances, and that non-Benedanis couldn't become administrators AT ALL.
  
• For a while, nothing was updated on the server, until... recently. Obviously, that first point generated a lot of complaints, and a quick update was made to the laws to address this issue. Now we only have to get rid of dead accounts, in theory.

This means that you don't have to worry, as long as you don't leave your account completely unused. So as long as you can verify yourself using 2FA or Nitro, our Discord server awaits you!

It's over for Discord.

As Dark said yesterday, we'll be shutting down the Discord server. Everything the community does is so annoying that we just can't take it anymore.

• The excuses are pathetic. "Ooooooh we do care though! But we can't care 24/7, we are at school!" Especially when the events are spread out across the day. Also, absolutely everyone on the server seems to be so isolated that they are incapable of inviting even a single person. At least Yoshi Element actually uses his brain cells. I mean, yeah, you need a big brain to get away with tax evasion.
  
• We have people dodging the purges by putting on update roles when they aren't even interested. 5 people are about to get kicked from the server, but there a lot who just have a role so that they don't get affected. But they don't even actually read the announcements **for the channels they signed up for**.
  
• Discord is just a generally unsafe platform. You can't do much in terms of security, besides forcing people to have 2FA enabled. Or phone verification, but that's just way too extreme. This means it's easy for people to create alts, and Discord doesn't do much about it. They only ever ban accounts, they don't even attempt to get rid of VPNs. On the other hand, I can easily block VPNs from accessing this site if I want to.

And now that this website exists, the Discord server has become completely useless. There's a separate news channel for like literally every single project here, which would otherwise clog up the channel list. And this website can be loaded up within seconds, especially for the cool benedani.xyz domain, making it much more convenient to access.

We've discussed this with Benedani Dark (the one who works on the projects) and Water (the current server manager). We all agreed on getting rid of the server. So say goodbye - it's vanishing tomorrow.
